Curatorial Project: explore, past, present, and future

Introduction

an exhibition at Milan’s Palazzo dell’Arte that highlights iconic Italian sewing machines while exploring how garment production has evolved over time. Featuring the BU Supernova, Mod. 1102, and Mirella—three award-winning designs—the showcase delves into their stories as symbols of women’s empowerment, industrial realities, and the future of craftsmanship. Through creative displays and thoughtful details, the exhibition ties the past, present, and future of sewing to broader changes in society and design.
